Press Release Regarding the Visit of H.E. Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey to Saudi Arabia

H.E. Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey will pay an official visit to Saudi Arabia on 6 November 2014, upon the invitation of H.E. Prince Saud Al Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In the meetings to be held during the visit, bilateral relations as well as current regional and international issues will be discussed between the two friendly and brotherly countries enjoying deep rooted relations.

Foreign Minister Çavuşoglu is expected to get together also with the representatives of our citizens and businessmen living in Saudi Arabia during the visit.

Turkey attaches special importance to the protection of security and stability of Saudi Arabia, which has an influential position and role in the region and international sphere.

In this context, we condemn the terrorist attacks perpetrated recently in Saudi Arabia and on this occasion, we would like to emphasize once again the importance of international solidarity in the fight against terrorism. We affirm that in combating terrorism Turkey will resolutely continue to work in solidarity and cooperation with Saudi Arabia.
