We condemn the attack perpetrated against the office of the Turkish Airlines in Athens this morning (13 September) that caused material damage.

It has been reported by the Greek Police that an anarchist group called “Rouvikonas (Rubicon)” claimed the responsibility for the attack. The said group also perpetrated attacks against our Embassy in Athens on 26 July 2016 and our Consulate General in Komotini on 5 February 2017.

We expect that the perpetrators of these acts against the Turkish representations in Greece be arrested and brought to justice as soon as possible.
