No: 51, 18 February 2018, Press Release Regarding the Plane Crash in Iran
We have learned with deep sorrow that an Iranian airplane crashed today (18 February) near Isfahan Province during a domestic flight and 66 passengers on board have lost their lives.
We wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives in this tragic accident and convey our condolences to the friendly and brotherly people of Iran.
H.E Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey also conveyed his condolences to H.E Javad Zarif, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
