Israel has continued to violate the rights of the people of Palestine by approving the construction of more than 2300 new housing units in illegal settlements in the West Bank, held under Israeli occupation since 1967. We strongly condemn this illegitimate policy of Israel.

Through its policy of expansion of the illegal settlements, Israel is continuing to openly and brazenly breach international law. We reject such Israeli acts which are aimed at eliminating the perspective of a two-state solution and to perpetuate the occupation. We also reiterate our permanent support to the brotherly people of Palestine and the legitimate Palestinian cause.
